Thomas Chatterton (Bristol, 20 novembre 1752 – Holborn, 24 agosto 1770) è stato un poeta inglese ed imitatore di poesia medievale. Morì probabilmente suicida con l'arsenico all'età di 17 anni, diventando l' emblema del genio misconosciuto tra i romantici .
