Tsutomu Mizukami (水上勉, Mizukami Tsutomu, 8 March 1919 – 8 September 2004), also known as Tsutomu Minakami, was a Japanese writer of novels, biographies, and plays. Mizukami's major works include The Temple of the Wild Geese, Kiga kaikyō and Bamboo Dolls of Echizen.

Tsutomu Miyazaki (宮﨑 勤, Miyazaki Tsutomu, 21 August 1962 – 17 June 2008) was a Japanese serial killer who murdered four young girls in Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture between August 1988 and June 1989. He abducted and killed the girls, aged from 4 to 7, in his car before dismembering them and molesting their corpses.
The Temple of the Wild Geese (Japanese: 雁の寺, Hepburn: Gan no tera) is an autobiographical novella by Japanese writer Tsutomu Mizukami first published in 1961. It received the Naoki Prize the same year.

Mizukami Tsutomu is a novelist. He was born and raised in a poor village. When he was 10 years old, his parents decided he should go to Kyoto to become an apprentice in Shoukoku-ji which belonged to the Rinzai sect.
