Peggy Guggenheim, vero nome Marguerite Guggenheim (New York, 26 agosto 1898 – Camposampiero, 23 dicembre 1979), è stata una collezionista d'arte e mecenate statunitense. Era figlia di Benjamin Guggenheim e nipote di Solomon R. Guggenheim il quale avrebbe creato la omonima fondazione per la creazione di musei in giro per il mondo.
Peggy muore all’età di 81 anni, il 23 dicembre 1979. Le sue ceneri sono custodite in un angolo del giardino del suo museo. Da allora, sotto la supervisione della Fondazione Solomon R. Guggenheim, la Collezione Peggy Guggenheim è diventata uno dei maggiori musei d’arte moderna al mondo.
