Il conte Dracula è l' antagonista principale dell' omonimo romanzo scritto dall' irlandese Bram Stoker nel 1897, trasformato in opera teatrale di grande successo nel 1925 da Hamilton Deane e John L. Balderston. Egli è il vampiro per antonomasia, il non morto, che ha la necessità di nutrirsi del sangue degli esseri viventi.
