Thomas Pablo Croquet (born 21 November 1976), known as Thomas Mars, is a French musician and the lead singer of the French indie pop band Phoenix.
Thomas Pablo Croquet, dit Thomas Mars, est un chanteur français né le 21 novembre 1976 à Versailles. Il est le chanteur du groupe d'indie pop Phoenix, fondé en 1995 avec deux de ses amis d'enfance.
Proprio con questi ultimi collabora Laurent Brancowitz, prima di entrare a far parte della band di suo fratello Christian Mazzalai, i Phoenix, con alla voce Thomas Mars, al basso Deck D'Arcy e i due fratelli alle chitarre. La band riesce a dare alla luce il primo disco, però solo nel 2000.
Phoenix was conceived in the 1990s when vocalist Thomas Mars, bassist Deck d'Arcy, and guitarist Chris Mazzalai, who were all friends in school, started playing together as a "garage band" based out of Mars's house in Versailles.
