John Leslie Keeble (born 6 July 1959) is an English pop and rock drummer. He is best known for his membership of the 1980s new wave band Spandau Ballet.
"National Apostasy" was a sermon preached by John Keble at the University Church of St Mary, Oxford, on 14 July 1833. The sermon has traditionally been considered as the beginning of the Oxford Movement of high church Anglicans , also known as the Tractarians.
Although typically self-deprecating, Keble was recognised as something of an intellectual prodigy. In 1807, aged 14, he won a scholarship to Corpus Christi College, Oxford. He gained a double first (only the second person in the history of the University to achieve this feat) in mathematics and classics at age 18.
