Yasuomi Umetsu, also credited by his alternate name Yasuomi Umezu, is known for his directorial debut for the anime cult classic Kite. Umetsu Yasuomi is an animator, character designer and anime director. After graduating from Chiyoda Institute he joined Tsuchida Production as an in-between animator.
