Twice a year, the ATHENS Network organises a programme of 7-day intensive courses at member institutions. The programme known as the ATHENS week includes a wide range of courses in engineering and social sciences as well as a number of “European Dimension” activities in each country. apply today.
The ATHENS Programme (for Advanced Technology Higher Education Network/Socrates) is a 1-week exchange session, held twice a year (in March and in November), by a network of European higher education institutions (universities, universities of technology, Grandes Ecoles...).

The ATHENS Programme offers students and doctoral candidates of TUM the opportunity to stay abroad at 24 partner universities in Europe (e.g. ParisTech, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Czech Technical University).

These EDA take place during the weekend preceding the course period, during the 5 weekdays of the course as well as during the weekend following the course. Students participating in an ATHENS week commit themselves to following the entire Programme (EDA + ATHENS course) as described above. The participation in the EDA is mandatory.
