Black Canary è un personaggio dei fumetti creato da Robert Kanigher e Carmine Infantino nel 1947, pubblicato dalla DC Comics. Negli anni '70 e '80 il nome della supereroina veniva tradotto in italiano Canarino Nero[4]. È una supereroina apparsa per la prima volta su Flash Comics n. 86 (agosto 1947).
