Bobby Seale. Robert George Seale (born October 22, 1936 [1]) is an American political activist and author. Seale is widely known for co-founding the Black Panther Party with fellow activist Huey P. Newton. [2] .
Bobby Seale was chairman of the Black Panther Party during the most violent, tumultuous period of the black power movement. Beginning in late 1966, Seale helped expand the reach and influence of the Panthers from their home base of Oakland, California to more than 30 cities nationwide.
