Hunter Tylo (born Deborah Jo Hunter; July 3, 1962) is an author and a former American actress and model. She was a formidable opponent against other typecasts in her pre-eminent portrayal of Dr. Taylor Hayes (1990–2002, 2004–14, 2018–19) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Tylo was born Deborah Jo Hunter, in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 3, 1962, to Jo Anne and Morris Jabez Hunter. She is of Cherokee (Native American) descent from her mother’s side. She has an older sister named Elizabeth and a younger brother named Cliff.
Gave birth to her 2nd child at age 25, a son Michael Edward "Mickey" Tylo, Jr. on April 24, 1988. Mickey's father is Hunter's now ex-2nd husband, Michael Tylo. Mickey suffered from epilepsy and drowned on October 18, 2007; he was 19.
13 mar 2022 · Not long after Hunter Tylo won her lawsuit against Aaron Spelling, she gave birth to a baby girl she named Katya. As an infant, Katya was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. According to CNN, Tylo noticed something wrong with her newborn when she was about two weeks old.
