Saxophoniste, il est le leader du groupe de jazz The Lounge Lizards. Il réalise l'album The Legendary Marvin Pontiac: Greatest Hits (de), sorti en 1999 [1].
The Lounge Lizards were an eclectic musical group founded by saxophonist John Lurie and his brother, pianist Evan Lurie, in 1978.
