London Nautical School ( LNS) is an 11–18 foundation secondary school for boys and mixed sixth form in Blackfriars, Greater London, England. [3] . It was established in 1915. History. The London Nautical School was established in 1915 in response to the Titanic disaster and subsequent Government inquiry.
Please note that London Nautical School is for boys only at year 7. Children With Special Needs If your child has an Education Health Care Plan (ECHP) you need to apply by a different process via your Local Authority.
The association exists to help former pupils of LNS to keep in contact with each other and with the school. The school has a particularly long and distinctive history and the aim is keep that ethos alive. The Old Boys Association has at least one function per annum with an Alumni committee which meets throughout the year.
London Nautical School is a non-selective secondary school maintained by the local authority ( Lambeth ). It has about 570 boys aged between 11 and 18. In June 2023 the school was rated ‘Requires Improvement’ by Ofsted. Particular strengths include Admissions, Sixth form, Representation and Attendance.
