Ming Tea is a faux retro - mod band consisting of Mike Myers, Susanna Hoffs, Matthew Sweet, Stuart Johnson, and Christopher Ward. The band was formed by Myers after he appeared on Saturday Night Live in the 1990s, and appeared in the Austin Powers film series, with the members performing under pseudonyms.

Ming Tea is a band lead by Mike Myers (as his fictional alter ego Austin Powers), featuring former Bangles guitarist and vocalist Susanna Hoffs, which performed the songs "BBC" and "Daddy Wasn't There" for the Austin Powers movies.
She later recorded several songs for movies, and formed the faux British 1960s band Ming Tea with Mike Myers and Matthew Sweet, which performed in all three Austin Powers movies. Hoffs teamed with Sweet to produce three albums of cover songs.
After working together as members of Ming Tea in the Austin Powers film trilogy, Susanna and Matthew Sweet formed Sid 'n Susie, releasing three volumes of their highly acclaimed Under the Covers series, culling tunes from the '60s, '70s, and '80s.
