20 set 2019 · Il parco eolico offshore East Anglia One sorgerà su un’area di 300 chilometri quadrati. Le 102 turbine eoliche costruite da Siemens e preassemblate e trasportate via mare una volta montate avranno un diametro pari all’apertura alare di un Airbus A380, circa 80 metri .
25 set 2019 · La prima delle 102 turbine eoliche è entrata in funzione e fornisce energia elettrica alla rete. Una volta completato nel 2020 l’East Anglia One sarà il parco eolico più grande al mondo. A renderlo noto è Iberdrola, società spagnola che ha investito circa 2,8 miliardi di euro sul progetto.
East Anglia ONE features 102 wind turbines, each producing 7 MW, supplied by Siemens Gamesa. They reach a height of 167 metres (two metres higher than the Iberdrola Tower in Bilbao, Spain), with 75 metre long blades.
Offshore. East Anglia ONE North is part of the East Anglia Hub and was consented in March 2022 jointly with East Anglia TWO. The Project. East Anglia ONE North Ltd is developing an offshore windfarm in the southern North Sea approximately 37.7km from the Suffolk coast at its nearest point to Lowestoft.
East Anglia ONE wind farm is a 714MW project located offshore East Anglia, in the British waters of the southern North Sea. ScottishPower Renewables (SPR), a subsidiary of Iberdrola, is developing the project with an estimated investment of £2.5bn ($3.2bn).
