The Knife sono stati un gruppo musicale elettropop svedese, formato da Olof Dreijer e Karin Dreijer, fratello e sorella nativi di Stoccolma. Hanno vinto diversi premi Grammis (l'equivalente svedese dei Grammy Awards), anche se non li hanno mai ritirati alle cerimonie ufficiali, preferendo nascondere il loro aspetto in occasioni pubbliche.
The Knife were a Swedish electronic music duo from Gothenburg, formed in 1999. The group consisted of siblings Karin and Olof Dreijer, who together also run their own record company, Rabid Records. They gained a large international following in response to their 2003 album Deep Cuts.
The Knife Bio. In the last gasps of the 20th century, something began to stir on the west coast of Sweden. Or more precisely, in a red barn at the edge of a forest in the middle of nowhere. It was the kind of physical space that demanded nothing, which was the kind of headspace that siblings Karin and Olof needed to start making music together.
The Knife are 20 in 2020. To commemorate the release of our first 7" back on August 14, 2000, we have made our full catalogue available on streaming services and digital stores through our label Rabid Records. This includes our soundtrack to the Swedish film Hannah Med H and Live At Terminal 5.
The Knife is Olof Dreijer and Karin Dreijer. They are based in Stockholm, Sweden and have made music together since 1999, released on their own label Rabid Records.

The Knife è un gioiellino di disco. Nonostante alcuni pezzi acerbi, è la perfetta introduzione al suono dei “fratelli coltelli” e forse il loro disco più eterodosso. Deep Cuts esce due anni anni dopo, e fa il botto grazie a due singoli eccezionali: “Heartbeats” e “You Take My Breath Away”.
