Television director. Gareth Andrew Carrivick (16 November 1957 – 16 March 2010) [1] was a British director who was known for his involvement in productions such as FAQ About Time Travel and The Big Impression. He died of leukemia in 2010.

The comedy was greenlit in May 2008 by Controller of BBC Two Lucy Lumsden and Controller of Comedy Commissioning Roly Keating. The six episodes were written by Jonathan Harvey ( Gimme Gimme Gimme) [3] and directed by Gareth Carrivick.
Working on such shows as The Vicar of Dibley, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, The Smoking Room and Beautiful People, Gareth Carrivick was one of the leading directors of television comedy.
