Kevin Guskiewicz (/ ɡ ʌ s. k ə ˈ w ɪ t s / GUS-kə-wits; born April 8, 1966) is an American academic administrator who is the president of Michigan State University. He previously served as the 12th chancellor and 30th chief executive of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Kevin M. Guskiewicz, a neuroscientist, academic leader and concussion researcher, was appointed president-elect of Michigan State University on Dec. 8, 2023, by the MSU Board of Trustees and started as president on March 4, 2024.

Guskiewicz joins MSU from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he served on the faculty since 1995 and as chancellor since 2019.
On December 13, 2019 the UNC System Board of Governors unanimously voted to name Kevin Guskiewicz the university's 12th chancellor. In the early afternoon on August 28, 2023, the second week of the fall semester, a PhD student shot and killed associate professor Zijie Yan in Caudill Labs, a laboratory building near the center of campus.
