Leonard Pearce (31 October 1915 – 15 December 1984) was an English actor who worked in theatre and television. He was perhaps best known for playing Grandad in the BBC television series Only Fools and Horses , from 1981 until his death in December 1984.

21 nov 2022 · Lennard Pearce, better known by Only Fools and Horses fans simply as ‘Grandad’, had died before Buster Merryfield was brought into the show as Uncle Albert. Uncle Albert had actually been written into the show in February 1985, shortly after Lennard’s death two months earlier.
