Nicholas Scott Lachey (/ l ə ˈ ʃ eɪ / lə-SHAY; born November 9, 1973) is an American singer, dancer, actor, television personality, and host. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the multi-platinum-selling boyband 98 Degrees and later starred in the reality series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica with his then-wife, Jessica Simpson .

In 2020, Lachey and her husband Nick were announced as the hosts of the Netflix series Love Is Blind. Lachey has stated that when producers approached the couple, “they made literally our dreams come true in terms of being able to work together, being able to spend time together, making our marriage stronger ultimately in the end.”
