The Tribeca Festival is an annual film festival organized by Tribeca Productions. It takes place each spring in New York City, showcasing a diverse selection of film, episodic, talks, music, games, art, and immersive programming.
The Festival was founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff in 2001 to spur the economic and cultural revitalization of lower Manhattan following the attacks on the World Trade Center. The annual Tribeca Festival will celebrate its 22nd year from June 7–18, 2023 in New York City.

Il Tribeca Film Festival è stato fondato a New York nel 2002 da Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro e Craig Hatkoff in seguito agli attentati dell'11 settembre 2001 alle torri gemelle del World Trade Center, allo scopo di rivitalizzare i dintorni di Tribeca, e, più in generale, di contribuire al progetto a lungo termine di recupero di Lower Manhattan.
Jane Rosenthal (born September 21, 1956) is an American film producer. [3] [4] She is co-founder, CEO, and executive chair of Tribeca Enterprises, a media company that encompasses Tribeca Productions, the Tribeca Film Festival, Tribeca Studios, and non-profit offshoot the Tribeca Film Institute.
