History. Founded in 1957, Wesleyan University Press quickly established itself as one of the nation’s outstanding scholarly publishers of interdisciplinary work in the humanities and poetry. Over its lengthy history, it has published exceptional works of scholarship as well as books of wide interest to general readers.
Announcing the finalists for the inaugural Cardinal Poetry Prize. We are excited to announce that out of 428 submissions, we have selected fifteen finalists for the inaugural Cardinal Poetry Prize. These finalists will be reviewed by Robert Pinsky and the winner announced in June of 2024.
19 set 2023 · He is a 2023 graduate of Wesleyan University and founder of the Route 9 Literary Collective, a literary organization serving both Wesleyan and the broader Middlesex County community. He edited and compiled The Route 9 Anthology: A Collection of Writing from Wesleyan Students, Faculty, Staff & Middlesex County Residents which was published by the press in 2022.
