Welcome to Harrow. A full-boarding school for boys aged 13-18, founded in 1572 under a Royal Charter granted by Elizabeth I. We are one of just a few full-boarding, all-boys schools in the United Kingdom.
Admissions. Each year, the School admits around 160 boys into Year 9, in the September following their 13th birthday, and up to 20 boys, normally aged 16, into Year 12 (Sixth Form).
Harrow School (/ ˈ h ær oʊ /) is a public school (English boarding school for boys) in Harrow on the Hill, Greater London, England. The school was founded in 1572 by John Lyon, a local landowner and farmer, under a royal charter of Queen Elizabeth I.
