It was built in the 17th century in the Italian high-Baroque style and they say it's one of the most outstanding examples of Baroque architecture in all of Europe.
The Theatinerkirche on Odeonsplatz is one of many beautiful churches in Munich and is definitely worth a visit, regardless of religion and culture. From the outside, the facade rather plain in yellow, in the Rococo style. Impressive and overwhelming from the inside.
