Anders Söderholm (born 26 October 1961) is the current rector of the Mid Sweden University and was a professor in Business administration at Umeå School of Business. Söderholm obtained his PhD from Umeå University in 1991, with his thesis on organization of local industrial policies. [2]
Anders Söderholm is the President of KTH as of 1 December 2022. He joins the university from the Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) where he has been Director General for the past five years.

19 ago 2022 · The Swedish government has appointed Anders Söderholm President of KTH from 1 December 2022. He has a background as Professor of Business Administration and is currently Secretary General of the Swedish Higher Education Authority.

The KTH Management Group consists of the President, the Deputy President, all Heads of schools, the University Director, the Deputy University Director and the President of THS student union. The Management Group manages matters concerning strategic management and governance of the University.
