Music for Them Asses is the second album released by the heavy metal band The Almighty Punchdrunk featuring Glenn Thomson Patrick Beaduane Ron McNeil Gene Hoglan of Strapping Young Lad and Cam Kroetsch The album was produced by Devin Townsend in 2001 and was never released commercially; it it's available at Virusworx.com eBay.com.

Hoglan also was recruited by Vancouver thrash metal band The Almighty Punchdrunk, and appeared as a band member for their only album to date, Music for Them Asses, released in 2001. Hoglan is working with Dethklok , the band from the animated TV show Metalocalypse .
Hoglan vi rimarrà in pianta stabile fino al loro scioglimento, partecipando anche ad alcuni album solisti di Townsend. Altri progetti che vedono Hoglan alla batteria sono Old Man's Child, The Almighty Punchdrunk, Daemon e altri.
Hoglan plays along with songs by Testament, Death, Galaktikon, Strapping Young Lad and Meldrum and provides plenty of stories about the songs and behind-the-scenes footage. “I’m doing a lot of talking so you definitely get to see my personality come out,” he says.
31 ago 2019 · Even some of the projects that I’ve been involved in that haven’t had as major a spotlight or focus on them like one of my earlier bands from Vancouver, Canada was the Almighty Punchdrunk and we have an album called “Music For Them Asses”.
