Turku (ruots. Åbo, lat. Aboa) on Lounais-Suomen suurin kaupunki ja Varsinais-Suomen maakuntakeskus. Se sijaitsee Aurajoen suulla Saaristomeren rannikolla. Turun kaupungissa asuu noin 202 000 henkilöä ja laajemmin koko seudulla asuu noin 347 000 henkilöä.
Turku è la città più antica della Finlandia e una delle più antiche dell'intera regione nordica. La città nacque a Koroinen, sulle rive del fiume Aura, pochi chilometri a nord dell'attuale piazza del mercato. Era un centro commerciale intorno al 1150 e nel 1229 vi fu trasferito anche il vescovado.
