Viggo Johansen (Copenaghen, 3 gennaio 1851 – Copenaghen, 18 dicembre 1935) è stato un pittore danese, formatosi all'Accademia reale danese di belle arti e membro attivo del cosiddetto gruppo pittori di Skagen che si incontrava ogni estate nel nord dello Jutland; fu uno più importanti dei pittori della Danimarca di fine '800.
Viggo Johansen (3 January 1851 – 18 December 1935) was a Danish painter and active member of the group of Skagen Painters who met every summer in the north of Jutland. He was one of Denmark's most prominent painters in the 1890s.
JOHANSEN, Viggo Pittore, nato a Copenaghen il 3 gennaio 1851. Allievo dal 1868 al 1875 dell'Accademia di belle arti, intraprese nel 1882, 1884 e 1885 alcuni viaggi, soprattutto in Olanda e a Parigi ove espose a più riprese.
Pittore danese (Copenaghen 1851 - ivi 1935). Dipinse con toni romantici soprattutto interni, notevoli per finezza di interpretazione, e paesaggi, usando talvolta la tecnica divisionistica. Opere nei musei di Copenaghen e Stoccolma.

Viggo Johansen (1851–1935) was an unusual Skagen painter who, in his time, earned the epithet ‘Painter of the Home’. No other male artist depicted scenes from the confines of the home or the bosom of the family as closely and intimately as he did.
