Henry Cubitt, 2nd Baron Ashcombe CB TD (14 March 1867 – 27 October 1947), was a British politician and peer, the son of George Cubitt, 1st Baron Ashcombe, and his wife Laura Joyce. The fourth Cubitt son, Roland was born in London on 26th January 1899 and, after the deaths of his three elder brothers, became the 3rd Baron Ashcombe on the death of his father Henry in 1947. Roland was baptised at All Saints Ennismore Gardens, Knightsbridge on 6th March 1899, the family address being 20 Princes Gate.
