24 giu 2020 · Mosley next signed with Reprise Records and his solo album, Bob Mosley, was released in 1972. By 1973 Mosley was listed as a ward of the State of California. He resurfaced in the late '70s as a member of the Ducks, who backed Neil Young on a series of impromptu bar gigs around Santa Cruz in 1977.
Bob Mosley (born December 4, 1942, in Paradise Valley, California) is probably best known as the bass player and one of the songwriters and vocalists for the band Moby Grape, but he has also developed a career as a solo artist. Do not confuse this artist with the songwriter Robert Mosely, often credited as Mosley.

As a long time Moby Grape fan (saw them at the Fillmore Auditorium in 1967/68), I was always surprised that they were never able to put a decent LP together after their debut. This makes this Bob Mosley solo effort all that much more rewarding. It is more like Granite Creek than their earlier material but Bob covers a lot of styles.
