20 giu 2018 · The Wetton/Downes' trilogy of Icon albums have been remastered and reissued with bonus tracks. Icon (2005), Icon II: Rubicon (2006) and Icon 3 (2009) have been released with the permission of The John Wetton Estate, with Downes personally overseeing the re-launch. Each album contains the original material, along with bonus songs including remixes.
Gleichzeitig schrieben Wetton und Downes weiterhin gemeinsam Songs, allerdings ohne ein neues Projekt konkret ins Auge zu fassen. 1986 erschien auch Downes' erstes Soloalbum The Light Program, das fünf mehrteilige Suiten, allesamt instrumentale Keyboardstücke, enthielt. Downes produzierte das Album selbst und spielte sämtliche Instrumente.

"iCon Zero" heißt die Wiederveröffentlichung des "Wetton/Downes"-Albums der beiden Musiker John Wetton und Geoff Downes, das noch vor ihrer weiteren Zusammenarbeit und der Icon -Trilogie erschien. Die meisten Tracks wurden in den späten achtziger Jahren aufgenommen und ein paar stammen aus 1990.
12 dic 2006 · This new disc by Asia's Geoff Downes and John Wetton could very well be mistaken as a new Asia cd. "Icon" the latest collaboration by Wetton & Downes is a well-written and performed disc. Wetton sounds great and Downes playing at his usual outstanding-ness. I say bring back the original Asia line-up and record.
