  5. Moody College of Communication requirements-Language and Culture-6 hours of Communication courses outside your major-3 additional hours of English or Rhetoric (E or RHE)-3 hours Communication and Culture coursework . Please see adjacent Course List for the degree requirements.

Students following the 2018-2020 or 2020-2022 catalog must satisfy a language and culture requirement in one of the following ways: (a) Demonstrating intermediate proficiency in a single language other than English; (b) Taking two consecutive courses in one language and one approved culture course in a culture that is relevant to the language.

  7. A grade of C- or better in all Communication coursework, unless otherwise specified. Students must complete ADV 318J with a grade of at least B. Moody College of Communication requirements . Language and Culture; 6 hours of Communication Foundations: COM 301E and COM 302E, taken in fall semester of first and second years of enrollment.
