Better Than Ezra was formed in 1988, while members Kevin Griffin, Tom Drummond Joel Rundell, and Cary Bonnecaze were all students of Louisiana State University. Fellow alums of University High School know him as a talented placekicker who walked on to the LSU football team while in college.
