Louis L. Novak (1922) painted his beloved Rindge in 1938. It is proudly displayed in the Rindge School of Technical Arts. Louis’ works are to be found in various museums including the Library of Congress, the National Academy of Design, Yale University, and CRLS. Edward Estlin Cummings (1911) became an extraordinary poet, playwright, and painter.

Generally, the school feels safe, both physically and emotionally as a secure learning environment for the expression of diverse viewpoints, but faulty administration at times makes systems unclear.

Cambridge Rindge and Latin School is a reflection of the progress of the past three centuries. CRLS came about when the Rindge Technical School was merged with Cambridge Latin high school in 1977.
