  1. From the Headmaster. Welcome to St. Mark’s School of Texas. Founded in 1906 as the Terrill School for Boys with 42 students, today we serve more than 900 boys in grades one through twelve. As a school focused clearly on the education of boys, our teachers, coaches, and advisors understand and appreciate the unique nature of boyhood.

  2. In 1946, Terrill School became The Cathedral School, which in turn merged in 1950 with Texas Country Day School, founded in 1933, to form St. Mark’s School of Texas.   6. Mark Sullivan joined the St. Mark's School of Texas faculty in 1982 as the Lower School Physical Education Coordinator. Prior to his appointment as the Director of Athletics and Physical Education in 2000, Mark has served the school as the Wilderness Program Director, the Assistant Head of the Middle School and as a coach and teacher in the Athletic Department.
