Luckily, I did make it to my birthday party but much later in the evening. We did not over rehearse any tune. We had done a few compositions with Nana at the gig a couple years earlier (1983) and there were some new tunes as well. I remember we came up with the ending to “Slink” in the studio experimenting. Lyle figured it out.
