The Haddad Fellowship includes The Lir Academy's MFA Playwriting, Stage Design and Theatre Directing courses. It is available for Brazilian students and covers the travel, living and education costs of the course for up to €35000. Applications for the scholarship open in January each year, and we advise students to apply early.

The foundation course is aimed primarily at school leavers who are interested in preparing themselves for three year actor training at conservatoire level, either at The Lir or a similar academy.
Course overview. Acting Ensemble runs from 2 evenings a week (Tuesday & Thursday) from 19 September 2023 until 14 April 2024. A final performance will take place on a TBC date in April. Classes run each Tuesday & Thursday evening. Classes are led by The Lir Academy’s teaching staff. Core classes in Movement, Voice and Acting: Improvisation.
