  7. Posthumous is an interesting premise, stylishly and competently directed (particularly for a first-time feature) by Lulu Wang. That said, the plot is a little straightforward and bland, so the film left me hoping for a bit more. While Posthumous is a fine debut, the step up to the brilliance of The Farewell is a giant one.
