South African born Session Singer/Vocalist Byron is infamous for his short membership with Toto. He recorded 4 songs with them for their 'Past To Present 1977 - 1990' album and went on tour with them in 1990.
Jean-Michel Byron ist ein als Byron DuPlessis in Südafrika geborener und aufgewachsener Musiker. Nach einer Karriere als Session -Musiker startete er mehrere Projekte mit Coverbands und begann, eigene Songs zu schreiben und aufzunehmen. Eine dieser Aufnahmen gelangte zu dem Schlagzeuger Bob Colomby, der Byron Toto vorstellte.

Toto (groupe) Il a été membre du groupe de rock Toto pendant un an (en 1990), et a enregistré avec celui-ci quatre morceaux inédits qui figurent sur la compilation Past to present : Can you hear what i'm saying, Out of love, Love has the power et Animal.
