4 ago 2023 · HB Studio has been a home for actors, playwrights and directors since it was founded in 1945 by Herbert Berghof. Herbert was a protégé of German director Max Reinhardt. When things got dangerous in Austria during Hitler’s regime, he came to New York City as a refugee.

Acting 1. HB Studio offers both online classes and in-person classes at the Studio. Before your first class, please review the information outlined on the relevant page (s). Class titles below indicate which are running online vs. in person. IN-PERSON CLASSES meet for the full 10-week term, 1 session per week.
