The Ice House is a 1969 American horror-thriller film directed by Stuart E. McGowan. The feature starred the twin brothers David and Robert Story, with Jim Davis, Scott Brady, Nancy Dow, Karen Lee, and model/actress Sabrina in one of her last film roles. After actress Jennifer Aniston rose to fame, the film gained notoriety because her mother, former actress Nancy Dow, had a role in it.
The film is not well regarded, being the last in the series before its cancellation, and barely a "ghost story" at all. One is a cop, the other an ex-cop who now runs an ice house and suffers some form of PTSD after a woman hits him on the head with a beer bottle causing him to start killing anyone who raises a bottle in his direction. Lands somewhere between Russ Meyer and John Hayes.
26 lug 2020 · The guy kills a couple a women and hides them in the ice house, until his cop brother discovers the bodies and there's a fight between brothers and a twist ending that I figured out in 2 secs. Just ok 75 min timewaster 2.5/5. If nothing else, it really captures the ethos of 60s era no-budget regional cinema.
