Phil Spector. Phil Spector est né le 26 décembre 1940, dans le Bronx, dans le Bronx, Nouveau... York. Son père est décédé en 1949, et en 1953, sa mère a déménagé sa famille en Californie. Les Spectors s'installèrent à Hollywood, et cette année-là Phil s'inscrivit à Fairfax Junior High School où il rencontra Marshall Leib.
The number of very big name artists that got their starts with Phil Spector is impressive. I was surprised to listen to Ben E. King, Connie Francis, and others. The anthology is an interesting mix of doo wap, girl bands, and one hit wonders. A good listen.
