Johann Adolf Hasse (Bergedorf bij Hamburg, 25 maart 1699 – Venetië, 16 december 1783) was een Duits componist. Als componist wordt hij gerekend tot de grootste vertegenwoordigers van de Italiaanse Opera seria van de 18e eeuw.
Johann Adolf Hasse entwickelte sich vom früh erfolgreichen Opernsänger zu einem der berühmtesten Komponisten seiner Zeit. Hasses im Stil der Opera seria komponierten Bühnenwerke nach Libretti von Pietro Metastasio gelten als Höhepunkte dieser Gattung in ihrer Zeit.
