EW YORK -- Though not noted for her humor, the filmmaker Chantal Akerman has attempted light romantic comedy in "A Couch in New York," which opened on Monday at Anthology Film Archives. And though this 1995 film has been discussed in terms of Lubitsch, Cukor and Capra, it has a premise that could work for Neil Simon, too.
