13 ott 2016 · dpaudiophile. Oct 14, 2016. Most of the dialogue and overall writing in Mascots feel forced and artificial, as opposed to other Chris Guest films like Waiting For Guffman, Best in Show and A Mighty Wind, where those important parts of the film come off much more natural and genuine.
Mascots, the director’s first feature in a decade, shows Guest completely unchanged, ... in the film’s most shocking moment, does performative battle with a bowel movement.
