C’è un Hart Crane che infonde alla parola una grande densità di significati, dove la ritmica forse ne risente, ma il linguaggio ne trae giovamento; un linguaggio estremo, quasi intraducibile. E poi ci s’imbatte con un diverso, ma non per questo meno affascinante Crane. Quello che predomina nel suo capolavoro: Il ponte.
