Graduate Programs. The Department of Psychology at ECU offers a PhD degree in Health Psychology that is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and judgment needed to become active contributors at the highest-levels of research, teaching, and service.
Psychology Undergraduate Program. The Department of Psychology offers both a major (BA) and a minor in Psychology. The BA degree requires 120 total credit hours, with 40 hours of general education courses, 12 hours of a foreign language (1001 to 2004), 35 hours in the study of Psychology, a minor, and general electives.
A typical course of study includes a background in statistics and research skills, applied study in the area of I/O psychology, and elective courses. Each student in the program must also complete an internship that provides practical experience in an organizational setting.
