David Allen Ogden Stiers (Peoria , 31 oktober 1942 – Newport , 3 maart 2018) was een Amerikaans acteur. Loopbaan. Stiers werd vooral bekend als majoor Charles Emerson Winchester III in de televisieserie M*A*S*H (131 afleveringen, 1977-1983).
Only weeks after "M*A*S*H" was honored with a TV Land Impact Award in early 2009, Stiers came out to a celebrity blog, declaring that he was gay. Stiers next appeared on the big screen in the film "Not Dead Yet" (2009), followed by two final screen roles in Neil Stryker and the Tyrants of Time" (2017) and "The Joneses Unplugged" (2017).
Er hatte Sprechrollen in Animationsfilmen wie Die Schöne und das Biest, Pocahontas, Der Glöckner von Notre Dame und Lilo & Stitch. Von 2002 bis 2007 war Stiers in der Mysteryserie Dead Zone in der wiederkehrenden Rolle des Reverend Gene Purdy zu sehen.
