  5. Teaching of the new curriculum will begin when the year group reaches Year 10 in 2027 and the long, two-year courses (replacing GCSEs) will begin. Some work, such as short courses, will commence when these students are in Year 9 in 2026. 2027 will however be the key year for us and the year we are working towards to have everything in place.
