Peel District School Board does not provide accident insurance coverage for student injuries that occur on school property or during school activities—this includes extracurricular sports. If a student is injured, parents/guardians are responsible for any costs not covered by provincial health care or their employer's health care plan.
The Peel District School Board is currently hiring casual school attendants to work on an “as needed” basis. Candidates are to be available on call a minimum of three days per week. The hours of work range between three and one half hours up to a maximum of seven hours with start times between 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and ending as late as 11:30 p.m.
